The Urban Gardener works to make edible green spaces in South Florida.
Welcome to Victory Gardens of South Florida. During WWI and WWII, patriotic Americans converted the land at homes, schools, churches, vacant lots and public spaces into Victory Gardens to grow food and support the war effort.
Given the power of the Victory Garden, why not use this model to eradicate food deserts, improve community health, increase productivity, and respond to climate change?
